Ageless Grace® is a fun, creative, playful exercise program practiced to vibrant music while seated in a chair. This innovative program is composed of 21 simple tools for lifelong comfort and ease™. We lubricate our joints, strengthen our muscles, exercise our brains, and improve our flexibility, hand-eye coordination, breath, balance and tickle our funny bones! We practice barefoot (your choice) to improve the flexibility and strength in our feet. Come and experience movement as you did when you were a kid and feel younger with every workout. It’s never too late to start. Great class for men & women!
Come let yourself be pampered! Expert foot care and pedicure techniques will be provided to you by nail specialist Mary Ford. Mary has been practicing her craft for over 18 years and will be available every first & third Thursday of the month between 8:30am & 3:00 pm. Appointments are scheduled on the half hour and services will be provided by appointment only. The fee is $17/half hour appointment (appointments are approx. 1/2 hour, depending on your needs).
Pickle Ball is here! Join this really fun game. No experience necessary! This game is a little like badminton, a little like tennis and a little like table tennis. The rules are short and simple and the racquets and balls are light weight. Played on a badminton sized court (two on a side) with the net low, only 34 inches high, the first team to score 11 points wins. Please bring your own paddles and balls, if you have them. We have a limited amount to share. We have 3 Pickle Ball courts set up in the gymnasium. Fall Pickle Ball days will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays as noted below. Choose to play one or more days; you decide! Purchase a 12 play pass and receive a discount. Don’t miss out on being part of the fastest growing sport for active adults!NEW REGISTRATION & FEE STRUCTURE!!! We have switched to a pay as you go system. The daily Drop In Fee of $3 is payable each time you attend. Purchase a 12 play pass for $30 and your fee is discounted to $2.50 per day. Please pay at the upstairs registration desk. Your pass is good for any day you choose to play. Passes will be good through December 29, 2017.• Daily Pickle Ball players must pay at the upstairs registration desk before playing. • Pickle Ball players with passes can go directly to the gym and check-in with the supervisor.
It’s time to stop and smell the flowers at Chicago’s annual Flower & Garden Show at Navy Pier. This day will be dedicated to inspiring, educating and motivating all of our gardeners. Whether in a backyard, kitchen or rooftop, this show is where green lovers go to discover ideas while having fun. So join us when we welcome spring after a long and cold Chicago winter. You will be wowed by the new life-sized gardens, how-to workshops, spectacular blooms, and garden-to-table cooking demonstrations, which will give you a reason to enjoy the greener side of life. Don’t forget to bring your camera. As a special treat, we are leaving early so we can have the “Best Breakfast on the Planet” at Lou Mitchell’s before heading to Navy Pier. Start your day with your choice of pancakes, a waffle, or two eggs with either 2 pieces of bacon, sausage or ham. A beverage of coffee, tea, or milk is included.Fun Fact: The tradition of the Chicago Flower & Garden Show can be traced back to 1847 when it was created as an exhibition of prized fruits and flowers.

Watercolor, acrylic, oils, individualized painting instruction, in your choice of media, emphasizes composition, color value and technique. If you have never painted before, this class will introduce you to the basics. Take a break from your busy schedule and inspire your creativity while making new friends.
