Our instructional class is designed to teach the basics of basketball while making sure the players stay active and engaged. Fun basketball games will be played to teach the importance of each skill learned. We will work on dribbling with both hands, passing and shooting techniques and basic offense and defensive positioning. All programs are based on learning teamwork and sportsmanship.
Ages 4-8 yearsIn this egg-citing class, young scientists will do several egg themed activities while watching & waiting for our baby chicks to hatch. Children will learn about incubation, egg candling, hens, roosters, and cute, little fluffy chicks. Related literature, songs and crafts will be offered in the program all while we observe the eggs hatch and watch the chicks grow.

Play lacrosse like the big kids. Age appropriate sized sticks and softer balls will be used for safety. Children will learn skills including cradling, stick work, running, passing, shooting, and more. Each child should bring a water bottle.
This class is designed to teach individuals ages 6 & up the physical and mental aspects of the Korean martial arts - Tae Kwon Do. The course will focus on self-defense, forms, punching, kicking and mental training techniques designed to help an individual�s self-improvement. In addition, students shall learn the history and terminology of Tae Kwon Do while applying its contents. As a result, an individual will learn self-discipline, self-confidence, physical coordination, sportsmanship, and respect for application at home and school. Parent involvement is encouraged and all classes are taught by black belt instructors of Lion�s Martial Arts of Woodridge, under the direction of seventh degree black belt Master Chung Kim. A uniform and handbook are required, which can be purchased through the instructor. The promotion exam will be held on June 17.
